Submission and Review Process
Q: How do I submitting my Manuscript to Fastlane Research Journals?
A: Submissions can be made online on our website. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to our submission guidelines before uploading.

A: Manuscript submission is free of charge. We however charge an article processing charge (APC) at KSH3,000 for Kenyans and 30USD for international authors when the article gets accepted after the peer review process of editing and publication.

A: It depends with the length and density of the manuscripts as well as the availability of the reviewers. On average, the time for the peer review process is within 3 to 5 working days. Authors will be informed immediately when the journal editor has arrived at a decision.

A: In case your manuscript is rejected, you will get a statement from the reviewer as to why the paper was rejected. You can then re-write your manuscript according to the feedback and resubmit it, or to advance it to another journal.

A: After the acceptance of your manuscript, it is copyedited and formatted before it can finally be published.
Q: How can I make corrections after my article is published?
A: If you find mistake in published article please inform the editorial office as soon as possible. Large changes made may need a retraction and then republish the paper, while small changes only require an erratum.

Q: What is Fastlane Research Journals’ stand on plagiarism?
A: We consider plagiarism as an academic offense. All the submitted manuscripts go through the process of plagiarism check using software. Any submitted manuscript with signs of plagiarism will be automatically rejected.

A: Each author, reviewer and editor should declare before writing the paper, the review or the editing, respectively, whether he has direct or indirect conflicting interest linked to the paper. There should be express identification of conflicts of interest at the time of submission.
