About the Journal
Fastlane Research Journals publishes high-quality research in a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to: Engineering, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science, Climate Change, Medicine, Physics, Social Science, Astrophysics and Chemistry. We also invite original research papers, review papers, case studies, editorials and opinions, short papers of new research discoveries and other scholarly papers and reports which aim at furthering the existing existing scientific literature.
Manuscript Preparation
To ensure consistency and quality, all manuscripts must follow these preparation guidelines. You can also download our manuscript template here to save time then upload your paper via the form provided below or to our email address publish@fastlanejournals.com. Paper submission deadline is 31st January 2025
Manuscript Formatting
File Format: Submissions must be produced in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx). Font and Size: Times New Roman type size: 12. Alignment: Justified. Single Line Spacing including references and figures. Headings and Subheadings: Make sure the content is structured in accordance with proper heading and subheading style.
Title: It should be clear and specific so that identifies the subject, length should not exceed 15 words. All authors must provide their name, affiliation and contact information. Make it clear that the corresponding author is underlined with an asterisk (*).
Abstract: The organized abstract of a quantitative study should not exceed 250 words, and it should entail the following sections objectives, methodology, findings, and conclusion. Keywords: Use 3-6 words that characterize the key topic areas of the manuscript under discussion.
All figures and tables should be inserted in to the main body MS-Word document and not submitted as separate files. Title and legends have to be provided while creating the figure and table.
When citing, use the APA, MLA, or Chicago styles depending on your school’s guidelines. Every source cited should be arranged alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Fastlane Research Journals operates under an open-access model. An Article Processing Charge (APC) of 30USD for international authors or KSH3,000 for Kenyan authors is applicable upon acceptance of the manuscript. This fee covers the cost of editorial services, peer review management, and online hosting.
When to Pay: The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. No charges are incurred during the submission or review stages.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfers to Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Account no. 1333503768 or PayPal to publish@fastlanejournals.com. Detailed payment instructions will be sent to the corresponding author upon acceptance of the manuscript.
